Notes:
(1) The Uniform Crime Report (UCR) of the US categorizes burglary, larceny/theft, and motor vehicle theft into property crime.
(2) National Police Agency of South Korea classifies those property crimes into one item, “theft.”
(3) In 2000, the Korean National Police Agency reformed police statistic system. After the innovation, the property crime rate showed of increasing sharply and then of stabilizing.
